While technology tools like video conferencing surged in popularity during the pandemic, remote data access has become essential for business operations.

Last year, technology took center stage. Companies with established technology platforms had an easier time adapting to remote work requirements, while companies that had ignored technology had no choice but to evolve. But, in this era of accelerated technology adoption, some tools proved more essential than others.

While virtual tours and video conferencing tools were certainly heavily utilized, Oli Farago, founder and CEO of Coyote Software, named data access as one of the fundamental requirements for business operations.
