Like many other companies, Coyote’s Christmas party is going to look a little different this year.
Never being ones to let circumstances stop our fun, we’ve managed to pull together an exciting plan for the team – but we also wanted to give a little extra back to our community.
And so the Coyote Xmas Challenge was born…
How’s it going to work?
We’ve decided to run a Christmas step challenge, starting on Monday 7th December, running through to the 16th December. Ten days in total – one for each year that Coyote Software has been around.
To mix things up a bit, we have thrown in three extra challenges completely unrelated to steps which will be revealed throughout the event. The winners will earn an extra 40,000 steps for their team without having to take a single step themselves.
As if the team needed any more encouragement, Coyote has pledged to donate 50p for every 1,000 steps completed during the challenge to our friends at Little Village – so the more steps racked up, the more we can raise for this great charity.
About Little Village
Little Village is a London based charity providing support for babies and children up to the age of 5 from families experiencing challenging circumstances – homelessness, unemployment, low wages and domestic violence.
They collect items from families in the area and get those items out to other families, who really need them but can’t afford to buy them. Every item they give out is a gift from one family to another.
In a recent survey of 50+ baby banks, Little Village found that 9 in 10 baby banks say that the coronavirus crisis is making it harder to support families in the way they would want.
Every little helps
Our aim is to raise funds to make Little Village’s challenge that little bit easier. No child should go without essentials, especially not in a wealthy city like London.
On top of our pledged corporate donation, we’re opening up our fundraising efforts with a Just Giving page where donations can be made directly to Little Village.
We’ll be posting updates from the challenge on our social channels, but get in touch if you’d like to find out more.
